Iconic Moments | Exploring Autographed Hockey Photos
Hockey. There are few sports like it out there, and there are passionate hockey fans from all over the world.
It takes a lot to be the best of the best in the sport. Considering that up to 736 players can be on NHL rosters at one time, the elite players can produce some special hockey events and hockey moments.
Some fans may want something to capture these hockey moments. These can be anything from hockey memorabilia to autographed hockey photos and other hockey gifts.
What iconic moments can you find in hockey photos and hockey autographs? Let's take a look at some of the hockey memorabilia that we have in stock.
Vladimir Tarasenko
Vladimir Tarasenko is a player that has spent over a decade in the NHL. St. Louis Blues hockey fans know him well, considering that he spent the first full decade of his career on that team.
Through the 2022-23 season, he has 262 goals and 291 assists throughout his career. His two best seasons were the 2015-16 and the 2016-17 seasons, where he recorded 74 points and 75 points, respectively.
However, the highlight of his career for Blues fans was in the 2018-19 season. That is because this is the season where he won his only career Stanley Cup title. This achievement was extra special because it was the first time in franchise history that the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup.
However, his time with the Blues came to an end this past season when about midway through that season, he was traded to the New York Rangers. He is currently 31 years old, and next season will be his 12th in the league.
Chandler Stephenson
This next player is a member of the team who just won the Stanley Cup. Stephenson was a part of the Vegas Golden Knights team that came out on top over the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final.
He has spent four years in Vegas, and now, he looks like he is in the prime of his career. At 28 years old, he just had a breakout season with 65 points. Only his prior season came even close to matching that point total.
However, this is not the first time that Stephenson got to hoist the Stanley Cup. Dating back to prior hockey events, he also helped the Washington Capitals get their first Stanley Cup title in franchise history in the 2017-18 season. That was also the first season he recorded any type of points in the NHL.
Mark Scheifele
If you go north of the border, you will find Mark Scheifele playing for the Winnipeg Jets. Scheifele has been on the team as far back as when the franchise first moved back to Winnipeg.
Considering that this was the 2011-12 season, it is safe to say that Scheifele has been there for a long time. It is certainly long enough to give out plenty of hockey autographs, hockey photos, and other hockey gifts to Jets fans.
You can see one of Mark's Winnipeg photos here.
Throughout his career, he has recorded 272 goals and 373 assists for a total of 645 points. Considering that he has been playing in the NHL since he was 18 years old, he still has plenty of time to put up more numbers.
Claude Giroux
Giroux is going to be the oldest player that we have talked about so far. Claude has been playing in the NHL for 16 years, and he is currently 35 years old.
Most of that time was spent on the Philadelphia Flyers, where he went as far as the Stanley Cup Final in 2010. Unfortunately, Giroux and the Flyers fell short against the Chicago Blackhawks that year.
Giroux has played exactly 1,000 games in the NHL. Throughout that time, there were surely many hockey autographs given out and many hockey photos taken by the fans. He managed to record 900 points along the way.
Currently, Giroux has moved on from the Flyers and now plays for the Ottawa Senators.
Milan Lucic
Another older player that we will discuss is Milan Lucic. Unlike Giroux, Lucic did find success in the Stanley Cup Final when he got there early in his career. He was part of the 2010-11 Boston Bruins team that went on to win it all.
That was ironically, his best statistical season, as he put up 62 points.
Lucic spent eight years with the Bruins before he started bouncing around the league. However, he has settled down with the Calgary Flames and has played there for the last four seasons.
Tyson Barrie
Finally, we have Tyson Barrie. He is another player that has been bouncing around the league recently. In 12 years, he has played for four teams.
His first eight years were with the Colorado Avalanche. With a stopover in Toronto, he spent 2.5 years with the Edmonton Oilers before being traded to the Nashville Predators halfway through last season.
Considering that he is still just 31 years old, he still has time to try to get that elusive Stanley Cup title.
